Happy Workers - like myself - Need Music

I think we can all agree - there are just some days at work where focusing is impossible, nothing is going on or you just don't feel like doing whatever it is that you do.  On days like those, I sit in my cube festering as I plunge further and further into the depths of boredom.  Forwards from friends, the occasional coffee break and reading blogs help to break up the monotony but nothing - I repeat, NOTHING - will pull you up out of your slump more quickly than a new jam!  Music is the cure to almost anything.  My good friends John Duda and Ashley Andersen, who know all about the healing power of music, started this little thing called the Happy Workers Need Music Club (HWNMC) and we started exchanging fun songs on a daily basis.  It was glorious - a total knight in shining armor to my damsel in distress!
Our fledgling club started to grow as we added more and more of our friends who were also suffering excruciating boredom at work and needed some new music to power through.  HWNMC ended up turning into a large group email list and a blog (there has been talk of t shirts but let's not get ahead of ourselves)!  So, if you are ever wondering what my friends and I are listening to or are interested in music reviews and upcoming concert dates in the area, I encourage you to check out our blog.  There are lists of all the tracks we exchange every week, information about bands and new albums, etc.

And...A THANK YOU shout out to Ash and Duda for saving me from my job!
Awww... aren't they so cute!?
